Hi Everyone! One of our favorite friends, Veteran, and Fantastic Volunteer for just about everything, has had some medical issues and could seriously use some help. He has been in the hospital and now is home. He needs in-home care for a few months (bathing, meds, meals, etc.) and is struggling to make ends meet. The VA pays for some of his care, but not enough. It costs about 50 dollars a hour and he could use up to 8 hours a day. Friends help as they can, but it really requires a professional. He also has a partner with dementia, and it is all he can do to stay on top of what he can from his recovery. He needs some peace of mind. This money would help pay for extra in-home care.
