Hello everyone! We, Niko, Karl, and Alyssa, are the children of Benigno & Lolita Barroso. Our parents are admitted to Qualimed Hospital in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Philippines, on August 21 and 23 respectively. They are infected by covid-19 and pneumonia.

 With the Lord’s unconditional love, our mother was discharged from the hospital yesterday, September 4, and is in quarantine and recovering at home. 

 Sadly, our father is still in the ICU, with the same diagnosis. He is still fighting and has been in the hospital for two weeks. It was a struggle looking for a hospital due to the number of Covid cases in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. He was in the E.R. extension outside the hospital for 3 days, due to lack of room, and was transferred to ICU thereafter because of his oxygen level. He is intubated and in ventilator. After undergoing 4 sessions of hemoperfusion, his oxygen level went better, but his heart rate went too high. Then a few days after, suspected blood was seen in his stool. He is taking medications and would help his body recover.

 We greatly appreciate the help, spiritually and financially, that we received from family and friends, but the bill from the hospital is accumulating. We are knocking in your big heart for any financial assistance to ease the costs. Any amount will make a difference. The Lord will bless you and your loved ones for your generosity.
