Hello, my name is Annette Padgett, and on March 01, 2022, my husband was involved in a terrible car accident doing what he loves so much riding his e-scooter; the car hit my husband while coming out of a parking stop and attempting to do a u-turn, which resulted in two broken femurs (legs), broken pelvis, broken right arm (in which bone protruded out the skin) and a broken collar bone. My husband almost died twice, once with the car accident itself and second during surgery in which he needed a blood transfusion. During his hospital stay, he required multiple blood transfusions as his blood count kept dropping and vital signs were not stable; my husband is now temporarily immobile and endures a lot of pain. Only through the grace of God is the only reason my husband is here. Our family became nurses, physical therapists and doctors while still trying to remain wife, sons and best friends overnight. Physical therapy will be lengthy and pain suffering. Please support our family and donate; even if it's a dollar for my husband's recovery and medical expenses, every dollar matters and counts!
