Hello everyone,

My name is Harvinder Singh, originally from Falound Kalan, District Malerkotla, India. I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support during one of the most difficult times of our lives.

My parents traveled from India to Canada on 31 August 2025 on a visitor visa. Their return journey was booked for 15 February 2026. Unfortunately, we did not have travel insurance for them.

During her stay in Canada, my mother suddenly suffered a heart attack. She was admitted to Etobicoke Hospital, and despite medical care, she sadly passed away on the second day after admission.

My wife and I are currently in Canada on work permits, along with our two young children. Our financial situation is not stable, and we are unable to manage the hospital bills, funeral/cremation expenses, and related costs on our own. This unexpected tragedy has left us emotionally and financially devastated.

We are humbly requesting help to raise $22,000 CAD, which will go toward:

Hospital and medical bills

Funeral and last rites expenses

Related documentation and emergency costs
