Help Family through my husband's medical crisis.

Donation protected
Hi, my name is La'Chandra Holliday-Jackson...I am raising funds to help my family through a medical crisis with my husband, Percy Jackson, Jr. to not lose our home. On November 14th, I was fired from my temp full-time job. On November 25th, my husband, Percy fell and had a medical emergency. EMS rushed him to the hospital, where he was admitted to ICU for Sepsis, a possible stroke, 2 confirmed strokes and a seizure, along with a series of other health issues.

On November 27th at 4 am, he was rushed into emergency surgery, from the CT scans that showed he had Necrotizing Fasciitis, which is a rare flesh-eating disease. He was then transported to another hospital for better care due to his condition. He was on a ventilator for 23 days and in STICU for 26 days. Percy remained in the hospital for 56 days. He had multiple surgeries and then after being home for 9 days, he was rushed back to the hospital for 8 days.

Losing my full-time income and Percy in the hospital, this left us without an income to sustain the rent and monthly house bills...lights, gas and water. I was able to cover November with my savings and with the help of my church and friends, I was able to pay for December. Our children have been assisting in helping maintain our utility bills, I have reached out to resources here in my city, and qualify for $600, however, because I am now two months behind, the balance has to be paid before the organization will release the $600 to the property management. We are facing an eviction.

I do have a part-time job, but that's just enough to cover gas, household essentials and medicine. I have sold some of our belonging to help put money on the bills, little by little. I no longer have Percy's income to assist with the rent and the bills. I have been having to pay out of pocket for Percy's medicines and major essential items needed to cover his care now that he is home. He is not able to physically stand and is confined to the bed. We have two nurses that come out 5 days a week to assist me in his care and recovery. Percy has a very long road of recovery ahead.

I am setting my pride aside. I do not know what else to do. I am trying to stop my family from being evicted. I am seeking assistance until we receive our income tax refund and hopefully approval from disability, which I've filed twice, because the first time he was denied. If you feel lead to assist in donating to my family to help me stop the eviction, we would greatly appreciate it. We are always soliciting prayers during this journey. Thank you in advance for your love, prayers and support.
