Sunday night our 4 yr old son started having horrible pain in the top part of his leg almost like a terrible Charlie horse that wouldn’t go away and stayed up all night Sunday night in extreme pain So Monday morning I packed him up and rushed him to Vanderbilt children’s hospital and after several hours of being here and blood work they came back in the room. To let us know we would be admitted to stay in the hospital that they believe our son was at high chances of having leukemia. We was lost for words and was not accepting the news to well. We was in shock! After all the bloodwork came back it was determined he has B Cell ALL leukemia. They went in and put a port in his chest yesterday morning and did a spinal tap and bone marrow test. He got his first two rounds of chemo yesterday. And a blood transfusion this morning. When the doctors made there rounds this morning they informed us that within the last 48 hours his leukemia cells and white blood cell numbers have came down! As of right now me and my husband are not working we are at the hospital with our son.As our family navigates thru this difficult time we are in need of financial support as bills will start piling up.Any contribution,no matter the size will go directly towards household bills and copays that insurance doesn’t cover. If you are unable to give please keep my family in your thoughts and prayers and we are very thankful and appreciate anything that is given to us during this difficult time..
