Help our family through our darkest days

Donation protected
7th February 2025 is a day we will never forget.

What began as an ordinary day quickly turned into our worst nightmare.

I took my husband, Darren, to the hospital because I noticed something small — the corner of his mouth had dropped ever so slightly. It was subtle, but something told me it wasn’t right. We never imagined that such a small sign would lead to something so devastating.

That day, Darren was diagnosed with a brain tumour — a glioblastoma. Hearing those words shattered our world. He is only 43. Too young. Too full of life. Nothing could have prepared us for the shock, the fear, or the heartbreak that followed.

In an instant, everything changed. Darren cannot work, and with only one income coming in now and our savings quickly dwindling, we’ve reached a point where we need to ask for help.

For those who know me, you’ll know how hard this is — I never ask for help. But here I am, reaching out and asking: if you’re able to donate anything at all, we would be deeply grateful. And if you can’t donate, please consider sharing our story. Every bit of support — big or small — means the world to us.

As a family, we want to make as many memories as possible — moments filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. At the same time, we also need to make some essential adaptations to our home to make life as easy, safe, and comfortable as possible for Darren as his needs change.

We are facing a journey we never expected, but we’re walking it together with love, strength, and hope.
