Hey everyone! I never thought I’d be making a GoFundMe for my cousin Kyriek (who’s always been more like my brother - iykyk), but his family is in a crisis and needs urgent help.

A month ago, he was laid off from his job and has been unable to find new work despite nonstop searching. With seven children to care for, including two under the age of 2, the family has fallen three months behind on rent. They are now facing eviction this Friday, October 3.

As if that wasn’t overwhelming enough, today their 3-year-old daughter underwent tests that strongly suggest neuroblastoma, a rare cancer most commonly found in young children. The oncologist is highly confident in this diagnosis, but the family is waiting on biopsy results to confirm the stage and treatment plan. What is already clear is that they’re looking at a long, difficult road ahead.

Between urgent medical appointments, caring for six other daughters, and fighting to keep a roof over their heads, they are stretched beyond belief.

Our first goal is to cover the three months of back rent so they don’t lose their home. Anything beyond that will go toward creating a small cushion for rent, food, and the many unexpected expenses that come with battling cancer.
