Help our family survive aggressive melanoma

I’m not sure how to start describing what our family has gone through the last couple of weeks… we got the blessing of my husband Ivan getting his dream job with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. We planned our move from Austin to Atlanta with excitement and full of hope.
My mom is an angel and a saint. She is the most beautiful human being who always thinks about everybody else before herself. She came from Colombia for the birth of both our girls and helped us during months as we don’t have any family here in the US, just us.
We were all so happy with the move and she just wanted to come and be with us, help us with the girls and get to know the new place in Atlanta.
After we arrived to Atlanta, my mom started feeling sick, we took her to the doctor and what seemed to be a mild pneumonia, ended being metastatic melanoma, that had spread to her lungs, breast and spine. We are so devastated by the news but we keep hoping for a miracle.
The cancer has progressed and she is right now in the ICU with a brain bleed cause by a tumor in her brain.
We are trying to get our family from Colombia to be with her. My sister and her husband and two kids don’t have the financial means to flight from Colombia, and we are dealing already with the medical bills of her treatment because she doesn’t have insurance here in the US which can be many many thousands of dollars.
If you know me and if I, in some way, have blessed your life in one way or another, first know that this is all my beautiful mom reflected in me. She made me who I am completely. And if you can help us donating, you are helping our family to survive this nightmare.
