Hi everyone,

I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my mom, who is currently fighting cancer that has recently worsened. She is now undergoing treatment in New Orleans, and this treatment is considered a last resort — one that could potentially save her life.

While we are incredibly grateful that this option exists, the journey has been extremely difficult both physically and mentally for her. The treatment process is intense, and she cannot go through it alone. My brother, myself, and other close family members are rotating weeks at a time to stay with her so she has the care, support, and advocacy she needs during this fight.

Unfortunately, the cost of extended hotel stays, transportation, and travel expenses has quickly become overwhelming. Between gas, parking, and hotels for weeks at a time, the financial strain is adding another layer of stress to an already heartbreaking situation.

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Hotel stays in New Orleans during her treatment

• Transportation costs to and from appointments

• Travel expenses for family members caring for her
