Help Our Family Support Crystal
April 25, 2023
Aanii!
A Message from Crystal:
“Hello Everyone! Thought I would share the battle of body, here’s my conditions:
Heart murmur – infection
Heart disease – inflammation
Diabetes.
Everything came to play at once. My family has been through a lot these past few weeks.”
Crystal is enduring the steps required for Open Heart Surgery this Friday, on April 28th, 2023.
We are seeking donations to help with the cost of travel for immediate family in order to provide support for Crystal Flamand. We are doing our best to gather everyone capable of travelling distance but the cost of travel and lodging for everyone involved is growing burdensome. With travel, distance, time away from work and all the stresses related to medical emergencies, our family would be immensely grateful for any and all support.
This past March has been a month of financial strain and pain for our family. Crystal has now been at the hospital for 28 days with Gord and children at her side. Her Mom and Dad, Sharon Osawanimiki, and Theodore Flamand, have been able to join her. At her side are uncles and aunts, her older sister Lila (and family), and younger brother Peter. Most of us are residing in Ontario, and this has meant a lot of travel-related costs.
Our Daughter/Sister Amanda Flamand-Peiffer was suddenly admitted into the ICU in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. We gathered around to be at her bedside when tragedy struck again and Crystal was also admitted into the ICU in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Due to tight financial situations and dire circumstances, Crystal was unable to come home to join us to say good-bye to Amanda in person, nor was she able to attend the funeral or 10 day feast with the family.
With your support, the entire family will be able to gather around once more and help Crystal through these difficult times.
Chi-Miigwech.
Thank you very much.
