Our daughter Hazel was born early and has been fighting in the NICU since the day she arrived. She has overcome so much already — breathing support, feeding struggles, weight milestones, constant testing, and long days of learning how to eat and grow. Every day she shows us she is a miracle. While Hazel fights her hardest, we are trying to stay strong too. I make a 6-hour round-trip drive every weekend just to hold her, feed her, and be present for every bit of progress she makes. Our boys are at home, and we’re balancing childcare, work, bills, and the emotional weight of having our newborn in the hospital. But the financial toll of this journey is becoming overwhelming.
