A few months ago, our family was getting by.
We weren’t getting ahead, but we were managing.
Then my spouse’s income was dramatically reduced, and little by little the gap between what comes in and what has to go out became impossible to ignore.
Like many families, we were already living paycheck to paycheck. When one piece of the puzzle changed, everything else started falling apart. We are a family of six—two parents and four children. Two of our children have increasing medical needs that require time, attention, and resources.
I have been the primary caregiver for our family while actively searching for employment, and I have a job interview coming up that could make a meaningful difference for us. Right now, however, we’re facing an immediate crisis. We are struggling to keep up with rent, utilities, groceries, transportation costs, and other basic household necessities. Every dollar coming in is already spoken for before it arrives, and we’re doing everything we can to avoid falling further behind.
Asking for help is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I’m used to being the person who figures things out, finds a solution, and keeps moving forward. But right now, I’m reaching out because my family needs help getting through this difficult season.
Any funds raised will go directly toward housing, utilities, groceries, household necessities, transportation to work, and helping us bridge the gap until I can secure employment and we can regain our footing.
If you are able to donate, share our story, or simply keep our family in your thoughts, we are deeply grateful.
Thank you for helping us hold on to hope during a time when we need it most.
