My name is Kevin, and my family and I recently moved from Georgia to Colorado, hoping for a fresh start in the mountains after many years in the South. There are four of us—my wife, our two adult kids, and myself. We made this move with high hopes, but the transition has been more challenging than we expected. While one of our kids has found work, the rest of us are still searching. The job application and interview process has been long and tedious, and it’s taking much longer than we anticipated to secure employment.
