On Monday night, our son was taken to the hospital where he had a cardiac event that caused him to be airlifted to the PICU at Sutter Hospital in Sacramento. His dad and I have been with him every moment, and because of that, we have both missed a week of work and incurred some pretty major unexpected expenses.

With the lack of work and money going out that was meant for bills and groceries, I am making the tough decision to create this and ask for help. Those of you that know us know we don’t ask for help like this and that we do anything for our kids.

Our boy is going to have a rocky couple of weeks and has to have his heart monitored with a wearable monitor. This has been one of the scariest weeks we have had as parents. And the money I am asking for will be going to bills and food for the house to keep us afloat until we can get back to work.
