I never imagined I would have to ask for help like this, but right now, my children and I truly need our community.

Our home was shot up while we were there, and having my children in that situation has left me terrified for our safety. No mother should have to worry about whether her children are safe in their own home.

I am a single mother, and this happened completely unexpectedly. I wasn’t financially prepared to suddenly have to leave our home and start over. My biggest priority right now is getting my children and myself somewhere safe and secure as quickly as possible.

I’m asking for help with the costs of relocating, temporary housing, transportation, deposits, and other necessities that come with starting over. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean so much to us. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also help tremendously.

I’m doing everything I can to keep my children safe and give them a chance to feel secure again. We are just asking for a little help getting through this difficult and unexpected time.
