Hi everyone! This is embarrassing, and I would not do this if my little family was not in dire straits, but I am putting my ego aside and doing this for not only my own peace of mind, but to provide my children with the roof over their heads they deserve, and also to assure that we aren't houseless in 30 days.

We've been having issues with our house since we moved into it, basically. We had requested maintenance to come out multiple times due to numerous issues. It started with electrical problems (outlets on the main floor not working, breaker also not working), broken dishwasher, broken garbage disposal; you get the picture. Those are things we could live with.

Kalli's bedroom has never been level. Kalli is my 16 year old daughter for those of you unaware. The back 1/3 of her bedroom was on a slope, but when we looked at the house the property manager insisted it was safe and would not get worse. Well, it got worse. Kalli's bedroom has continued to "fall" off the back of our house, for lack of a better word. An enormous crack has developed in her wall and contractors recommended that we do not allow anyone in her bedroom.

When property management finally came out and did a walk-through, the owner of the home put it up for sale, instead of fixing the issues themselves. The house sold quickly and closing is in less than 30 days at this point.

We have another house to move into. However, we need the usual 2 months rent and deposit to move in. We are a paycheck to paycheck family at the moment and this just is not feasible for us right now. The kids are due to be home for the summer as soon as possible, and they have not been home since Christmas. It would be devastating to be unable to have them home. I'll move mountains for my children. But this is one time where we need a little help to do so. Dan and I are working as much as possible, and I am continuously taking side work also.

I will provide screen shots of payments made to our property management company as well as payments made for moving expenses (Uhaul, etc), to assure anyone willing to donate to our cause, that your funds are being used for their intended purpose.

I know that many of us are feeling the burn of an unstable economy. Anything, literally anything is extremely appreciated. Again, this is embarrassing, but I don't really know what else to do. I just want to get my kids home, and in a house that is not falling down.
