Hello, we’re Rico and Geraldine—two hard working parents striving to build a stable future for our family in the United States.

I (Rico) am originally from the beautiful Bahamas and have dedicated my career to the entertainment industry as a DJ. Music is my passion, and I love bringing joy to others through it. At the same time, I am deeply interested in cybersecurity and have been pursuing it as a self-taught enthusiast. My dream is to transition into IT security, earn a college degree—the first in my family—and inspire others to follow their ambitions, no matter where they start.

My wife, Geraldine, is from Guadeloupe, a breathtaking French Caribbean island. She is a passionate and dedicated biology professor who loves shaping young minds.

Together, we have two wonderful children who are American citizens. It’s our greatest wish to provide them with a secure and stable home in the country they were born in—without having to choose between our native countries.

The Challenge We Face

As immigrants, we are navigating the complex and costly process of securing our green cards, which will allow us to build long-term stability in the U.S. The total cost is $12,000, and while we’ve arranged a payment plan with our lawyer, we still need $3,800 to cover government fees upfront.

This financial burden has added to the challenge of balancing work, education, and providing for our children. That’s why we are reaching out for support from this incredible community.
