Hello, our names are Brandon and Bryanna, and we have a young daughter. We don’t know exactly how to word this, because we both hate asking for help. A few months ago, I (Brandon) lost my job. It was right after Bry had started staying home to homeschool our child, who has been struggling badly with mental health issues. We’ve done the best we could since then to keep up with bills, the rising costs of groceries and gas, and paying for things like meds out of pocket with no insurance. My unemployment payments haven’t been enough to keep up, and we’ve been doing things like Instacart, DoorDash and babysitting to stay afloat. However, we haven’t been able to keep up with our electric bill, and it has now been shut off, as we have a large past due balance.

I’m due to start a work from home job next week, and now we don’t have electricity so that I can do that. We’re desperate to get this taken care of before then.

We were rejected from emergency assistance through DHHR, because my unemployment brings our monthly gross to $96 over the eligibility limit. Hearing this was devastating. We’ve reached out to multiple organizations, and most are out of funding.

This has lead us to this platform, and it’s extremely hard for us to put ourselves out there and admit that we need help. Anything, even a dollar, will be appreciated and help us get to the total we need. We appreciate anyone that has taken the time to read this.
