Hi All,

Thanks for reading our story. We are a happy little family. Our son, who was born at just 25 weeks and 3 days, weighing 1.5 pounds, is now closing in on 18 months old, and he weighs 21 pounds. We brought our son home to our lovely rural home where we fully intended to raise him until he was ready to move off to his life as an adult (we really love our home). Unfortunately, due to rising anti-trans sentiment and laws in our state and country, we have made the difficult decision that the best way to keep our family safe is to relocate far away. You see, his mom is trans, and there is a greater than zero percent chance that the government will come for our cute little family and break us up. Perhaps that is fear-mongering, perhaps that is overreacting, but we have chosen to overreact rather than underreact. We are working on a plan for a life in a new country, but every part of this process is expensive, and we could really use some help. We're seeking help with travel expenses. On top of that, we will have visas, certifications, and myriad other expenses, but if you could help with the actual getting our bodies to the new place, we would be forever grateful.
