My husband had a gallbladder removal surgery on Oct. 29th, the surgery was suppose to be a robotic assist, when he was wheeled into the room, the robotic assist was malfunctioning. His surgery turned into a laparoscopic surgery. The surgeon afterwards stated that there were no complications that the operative report contradicted. On Nov. 11th my husband started having severe pains in his abdomen and went to the ER, they determined it was constipation and sent him home with laxatives. Around midnight the same night, my husband was in so much pain I took him back to the ER. He was then admitted and it was determined he was having a bile leak. There have been so far 2 additional surgeries to fix that bile leak and my husband is still in the hospital. Our current medical bills before insurance is at around $40,000 dollars, and as my husband is still in hospital I am the only one working to cover our bills right now. I do not make enough alone to cover our $2000 rent plus utilities. All assistance to us will be used to pay off medical bills and to help cover our rent.
Our household recently faced an unexpected medical stay that has put a significant strain on our finances. The sudden nature of this situation has left us struggling to keep up with both medical bills and our regular living expenses. We have always tried to manage on our own, but this time, the costs are more than we can handle alone.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward paying off medical bills and making sure we can keep up with our rent. With the holidays approaching, we know that everyone is feeling the pressure, and it means so much to us that you would even consider helping. Your support will help us get back on our feet and focus on recovery without the constant worry about losing our home or falling further behind.
We want to thank anyone who can help us during these difficult times. We understand that the holidays are right around the corner and everyone is strapped on money, so we appreciate you being willing to help us. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference for our family, and we are deeply grateful for any support you can offer.
