We're updating our fundraiser to reflect the current needs of our family. We've been asked by several people about how they can help and if this GoFundMe is still active.

We've been extremely humbled by the generosity and support showed to our family since Francis has been born, especially last fall when we unexpectedly lost a significant portion of our savings due to a sophisticated fraud scam.

Francis starts new regular therapy at Inova next week and will be attending Richmond Hope Therapy again in the late summer. The therapy at Inova will be every week for the rest of the year, and Richmond Hope is an intensive therapy every day for three straight weeks. He is at a very pivotal time in his development for this focused, intentional therapy. When he attended Richmond Hope for the first time earlier this year, we saw a huge improvement in his gross and fine motor skills.

Our biggest current need is help with Francis' therapies that aren't covered by insurance. He has currently hit his max number of therapy visits for this calendar year. We've spent countless hours talking with our insurance to see if there's a way to increase those, but so far we've been denied. We're exploring other options to help with this, including applying for financial assistance at both Inova and Richmond Hope as well as applying for the VA Medicaid Waiver since his medicaid benefits expired earlier this year. Both of us are also taking on extra work as much as we can to help offset these expenses.

This fundraiser is still open if you feel called to donate. We've set the goal to cover what we expect to need for Richmond Hope Center and any equipment Francis might need. It will also go to counseling services for our family as we continue to recover post-trauma.

We are always so grateful. We really believe that the Lord is providing for us every step of the way.
