Help Our Family Recover After Violent Attack in Seattle

On July 5, 2025, our family experienced something no one should ever have to face. Our 17-year-old sister was the victim of a violent and brutal attack that took place inside our grandfather’s longtime home in Seattle. She was stabbed all over her body multiple times. Our grandfather was able to call 911 for her, and she was rushed to the hospital. Meanwhile, law enforcement officers evacuated our grandfather to ensure his safety.
Miraculously, she survived.
She is now beginning the long, painful road to recovery both physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Our family is standing by her side every step of the way, but the journey ahead will involve months of medical care, therapy, and support.
At the same time, we are also trying to care for our elderly grandfather, whose home (the site of the attack) was left in ruins. He has lived there for over 30 years, and now, at 83 years old and living on a fixed income, he’s facing both the trauma of what he witnessed and the reality that his home is unlivable.
This fundraiser is for both of them: to help our sister heal and help our grandfather rebuild.

- Our Sister’s Recovery (Ongoing medical treatment, therapy, and physical rehabilitation + travel expenses to and from medical appointments + time off work for family members providing care)
- Our Grandfather’s Home & Well-being (Extensive drywall and flooring repairs due to damage and blood contamination + professional biohazard cleanup throughout the home + security upgrades such as cameras, reinforced doors, and locks)
This tragedy has left our family emotionally and financially overwhelmed. We are doing everything we can to support both our sister and our grandfather, but the expenses are already mounting and will continue for months to come.
Our grandfather has always been the quiet, steady anchor of our family. He would never ask for help himself, but we’re asking for him now.
And our sister, just 17 years old, did nothing to deserve what happened to her. She has shown incredible strength, but her healing will take time, resources, and the unwavering support of a community that refuses to let this act of violence define her future.
