Help Our Family Recover After Milwaukee Flood

Today, our family in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was hit by a devastating flood that turned our lives upside down. In just a few hours, we lost so much—personal belongings, all the baby clothes and hand-me-downs for our second daughter, computer, washer, dryer, and furniture. The hardest part is seeing the things we had saved for our children, especially our youngest, completely ruined.

More importantly we have a 2nd daughter on the way in a couple months. We were beginning to bring up our baby furniture to get the room ready and everything was destroyed and now we have to buy everything back

Right now, my partner and I are working nonstop to clean up everything that was damaged. We’re doing this on our own, without any outside help or support. Our top priority is making sure our daughter has what she needs, and replacing the appliances that help us keep up with daily life, like a washer and dryer. Every day feels like a challenge, but we’re determined to get back on our feet for our kids.
