Our family is reaching out during one of the most difficult times we have ever faced. Recently, our home was struck by lightning and caught fire, leaving it uninhabitable. In a matter of moments, we lost the comfort and security of the place we called home. While so much was damaged, we are incredibly grateful for one thing above all else: every member of our family made it out safely. Our family consists of myself, my husband Brian, and our children, Levi, BJ, and Nina. Like many families, we never imagined we would find ourselves in this situation. We are currently navigating temporary housing, replacing essential items, and trying to provide stability for our children while we work through the long process of recovery. The outpouring of love, prayers, food, donations, and support from friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers has reminded us that we are not facing this alone. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us take another step toward rebuilding our lives and creating a sense of normalcy for our children again.
