My family has always worked hard to support ourselves, but this year has brought unimaginable challenges. A loose propane line in our brand new food truck caused a flash explosion, sending my wife to the hospital for five weeks with third-degree burns over nearly a quarter of her body. The accident has left her with a long road to recovery, and our business—our main source of income—has been forced to shut down while lawyers and insurance companies investigate what happened. We are still able to offer catering, but it’s not enough to cover our monthly bills and keep us afloat.
We are doing everything we can to stay above water, but the process is slow and uncertain. The legal and insurance issues are ongoing, and we don’t know when we’ll be able to get back on the road with our food truck. In the meantime, our family is struggling to pay for basic living expenses. We never imagined we’d be in this position, but we are reaching out to our community for help.
We are not looking for handouts—we are trying to earn our way and keep our business alive. Any support you can offer, whether it’s a donation or sharing our story, means the world to us. Thank you for considering helping our family during this difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will help us get through this and, hopefully, back on our feet.
