Our family never imagined we would be in a position where we would have to ask for help. After 15 years in our home, a devastating house fire took everything we owned. In a matter of hours, our family of eight—including our two beloved pets—lost not only our home but also our belongings, our memories, and the place where we built our lives together. We are the siblings in this family reaching out on behalf of ourselves and our parents, asking for support as we begin the difficult journey of rebuilding. This tragedy has impacted every part of our lives, but with the kindness and generosity of others, we hope to move forward together as a family.

This fall was supposed to be an exciting new chapter for all of us. Our youngest sibling is preparing to begin her senior year of high school, our twins are entering their freshman year of college, and another sibling is returning for her sophomore year of college. We've spent months preparing for this next step, gathering the essentials needed for school and college, only to lose everything we've worked so hard to prepare. We are now having to start completely over. We need to replace clothing, shoes, school supplies, backpacks, laptops and other electronics, textbooks, dorm essentials, bedding, toiletries, personal belongings, and so many other everyday necessities.

We also need to replace our musical instruments, which are an important part of our participation in our schools’ marching band programs. Music has been a meaningful part of our education, our friendships, and our lives, and we hope to continue being involved despite this unexpected setback. While many possessions can eventually be replaced, we also lost irreplaceable items that carried years of memories—family photographs, childhood keepsakes, awards, and reminders of the life we built together. Those are the things that are hardest to lose, but we are determined to rebuild and create a new chapter for our family. At the same time, our parents are facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding the life they spent more than two decades creating while raising us.

They worked tirelessly to provide a loving and stable home, filling it with everything our family needed throughout the years. In one day, everything they had built and accumulated while caring for us was gone. From furniture and appliances to household essentials and family keepsakes, they lost the things they spent years working for. As their children, we want to help ease that burden and support them as we rebuild together. We are also committed to making sure our two beloved pets have the care, comfort, and stability they need as we navigate this difficult journey.

They are members of our family, and their well-being matters deeply to us. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help our family take steps toward rebuilding our lives. Your support will help replace the essentials we lost, allow us to continue pursuing our education, help our parents rebuild, and give our family the opportunity to move forward after this devastating loss.
