On July 15th, my family—my spouse, our 10-year-old daughter, and I—were evacuated from our home in Uvalde, TX due to severe flooding. Water rushed under our house, and over the next two nights, it entered our home, soaking everything up to mid-level and leaving mud everywhere. The foundation is now unsafe, and the smell of sewer throughout the house is unbearable. We lost several of our chickens, our turkey, and all of our goats. Our vehicles were destroyed, and we have nowhere to go while we figure out what to do next.

We are a family of three who have lost everything. Our home cannot be repaired, so we will need to find a new place to live. Donations will help us with temporary housing, clothing, and replacing the belongings we lost. We are also trying to care for our daughter and recover from the heartbreak of losing our animals. Any support will make a huge difference as we try to rebuild our lives and find stability again.
