Hi everyone,

Our family is Poppy, Jonah, Frank (our dog), Elvis (our horse), and Buggsy (our cat).

We lost our home and everything in it to the Bald Ridge/Faulder Fire. Everything we had worked so hard for, including all of our belongings and memories, was destroyed.

We barely made it out after loading up our pets and horses. Unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time to save our 16 chickens.

We’re still in shock and honestly don’t fully believe this has happened. I guess there’s never a good time for something like this, but the timing is especially difficult as my wife, Poppy, is pregnant and due in just a couple of weeks.

All of the baby things we had so excitedly picked out and prepared for our daughter are gone. The home where we had imagined raising her and making our family memories is gone too.

And it’s not just our family. So many other families in our little community have been affected by this devastating fire, and our hearts go out to everyone who has lost their homes, belongings, and sense of security.

We hate having to ask for help. We’ve always worked hard for what we have and never imagined we would find ourselves in a position like this. But right now, we desperately need some help getting back on our feet and preparing for the arrival of our daughter.

Any help, no matter how big or small, would mean the absolute world to our family. We are incredibly grateful for every donation, share, message, and bit of support.

We will continue to help others in our community that also lost so much.
