In 2023, my family and I lost our restaurant due to an unfair act from our landlord. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we fell behind on rent, but we still had two years left on our lease. Unfortunately, our landlord forced us out and made it impossible for us to even sell the restaurant, leaving us with nothing after years of hard work and dedication.

Over the years, we invested our life savings and everything we had into the restaurant. Losing it meant losing not just our business, but the financial security and stability we had worked so hard to build. The loss has made it difficult to keep up with our mortgage, credit payments, and all the other expenses that come with supporting a household. We are doing everything we can to rebuild, but the financial strain has been overwhelming.
