My name is Tami, and I never imagined I would have to ask for help like this. We have no close family to turn to—they have all passed—and today, my husband and our children are all I have. My husband is the sole provider for our family, and recently he underwent emergency surgery for an aneurysm that saved his life. Shortly after, he suffered an ischemic spinal stroke, leaving him partially paralyzed and facing a long, difficult recovery. Right now, he has NO health insurance, and we are struggling to continue his care. He urgently needs medications, doctor visits, PT & OT therapy so he can walk again and so many more ongoing treatments, but without insurance, we are unable , to continue his health journey the way he needs too and we are doing everything we can to stay strong for our family. The financial burden is overwhelming—hospital bills, medications, doctor visits, and even basic needs like rent are becoming impossible to manage.
