We adopted Maeby in 2014 when she was just 10 lbs. She's been our special little girl ever since. She turned 10 this year and you'd never know it with all the energy she has and how much she loves humans.

She recently tore her ACL and had to have surgery. Luckily, we have pet insurance, but the coverage can't even come close to paying for how expensive this surgery was. It seems to have gotten quite a bit more expensive than it was when we had to pay for her brother Marty's same procedure on both of his legs in 2017.

This past year, we have poured everything we have into building a new business, and we are still working to get back to the amount of income we used to have, so we're in a really tough spot with this bill.
