My name is Cailey. I am the oldest of 3 girls.

On the morning of August 23rd, my mom, Tara Jowers, was taken to Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, TN, unresponsive with a brain bleed and a very bleak outlook regarding her making it out of this alive. At first, we were told she had a hemorrhagic stroke. It was then that we found out that she had sustained an injury on the job that was the probable cause of her brain bleed. On this day, a neurosurgeon informed our family that they couldn't perform surgery on her brain because of the possibility of her brain herniating, but all of this pressure was on her brain stem.

Well, that night she started making improvements that warranted another CT scan that revealed that the bleeding had dissipated and that they needed to get her into the OR for surgery immediately.

She spent over a week in ICU and was moved into a regular room on September 2nd, and on September 13th, was moved to a transitional care facility where she will be doing physical therapy and occupational therapy!

The reason I have started this GoFundMe is because my mom was the main breadwinner in our household, as I was trying to go back to school and further my education while balancing my 2 littles as a single parent. I’ve been trying to get a job at Jackson General as a PCT (just waiting to hear back from them), but since this whole ordeal has happened, me and my sisters have been burdened with a car note, insurance, and anything else my mother paid for. I am also having to travel back and forth to Jackson every day, if not every other day, to check on my mother. We’re not asking for a lot; anything will help. We just need some kind of help till I can get on my feet! If you can’t donate, continuous prayers for my mom and for her to keep doing what she is doing are very appreciated!
