Help Our Family Rebuild After Losing Everything in the Hawk Fire It has been one week since the Hawk Fire took our home and completely changed our lives.

• My husband, our four children, my dad, and I lost nearly everything we owned. We are beyond thankful that all seven of us made it out safely, but now that the shock of that night is beginning to wear off, the reality of what we lost and how much rebuilding we have ahead of us...is really starting to sink in. Everything that made our house feel like home is gone. Our clothes, furniture, our kids’ belongings, family keepsakes, everyday necessities, our Dirtbikes we road often and a lifetime of memories. The amount of love we have received this past week has been unbelievable. People have donated, shared our story, brought us things we needed, prayed for us, and reached out just to make sure we were okay. We will never be able to fully express how much that has meant to us. But even though a week has passed, we still need help. We are trying to find our new normal while figuring out temporary housing, replacing an entire household, and giving our kids some sense of stability again. We know rebuilding our lives won’t happen overnight. If you are able to donate or even just share our story, it truly means more than you know. Every little bit helps us take another step forward. We lost our home and almost everything inside it, but we still have each other, and for that, we will always be grateful.
