Help Our Family of Six Rebuild After Losing Everything in a House Fire

Tonight, our family’s entire world changed in an instant.

Our home was destroyed in the Hawk fire, and my husband, our four children, and I lost everything we own. We made it out, and we are incredibly grateful to be alive and together, but we are now facing the unimaginable reality of starting completely over.

We left with only the clothes on our backs. Our children’s clothes, shoes, beds, toys, school belongings, family keepsakes, furniture, household necessities—everything that made our house our home—is gone.

Right now, we are trying to figure out where we go from here and how we begin rebuilding our lives. We need help with immediate necessities such as clothing and shoes for our children, food, toiletries, temporary housing, transportation expenses, and eventually replacing the basic things a family needs to have a home again.

Asking for help is incredibly difficult, but right now we truly need it.
