Hi, my name is Andrea Moyer, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of our lives. My family of 9 is currently facing eviction, and we’re doing everything we can to stay together and off the streets.
We are a large family with multiple children on the autism spectrum—our oldest is just 11 years old. Stability and routine are so important for them, and the constant uncertainty we’re facing right now is heartbreaking.
Over the past few months, life has been incredibly difficult. We lost our car, which made it even harder to work and care for our kids. We had to move suddenly and spent the last of our savings just to get by. Then we lost our food stamps due to income limits, even though we are still struggling daily just to afford the basics.
Now, we’re facing eviction with no safety net and nowhere to go.
This GoFundMe is our last hope. We are trying to:
• Catch up on rent to avoid being put out
• Afford food, transportation, and daily essentials
• Keep our kids—especially those with special needs—safe and sheltered
• Create a small cushion to prevent us from falling back into crisis
⸻
Where the Funds Will Go:
We’re asking for $10,000 to help cover our most urgent needs and regain some stability. Here’s the breakdown:
• $3,500 to catch up on back rent and stop the eviction
• $3,000 for first month’s rent and security deposit if we’re forced to move
• $1,500 for groceries, hygiene items, and essentials for our kids
• $1,000 for transportation (repairs, ride-shares, or toward a used car)
• $1,000 for a basic emergency cushion so we don’t fall behind again
Every single dollar will go toward keeping our family housed, fed, and together.

We’re not looking for a handout—we’re asking for a hand up. If you’re able to donate, we are incredibly grateful. If you can’t, please consider sharing this with others.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and thank you for being part of our fight against homelessness.
