Greetings!

My name is Bernadette and my husband and I have 5 beautiful children. We’ve always worked hard to provide for our family, but like so many others, we’ve been deeply affected by the rising costs of living—rent, food, gas, utilities… everything has skyrocketed. No matter how many hours we work, it feels like we’re falling further behind.

Recently, a glimmer of hope came our way. We stumbled upon a house that has the potential to become a warm, stable home for our family. With some help, we could make this house livable and finally break the cycle of housing insecurity that’s been looming over us.

Unfortunately, fixing up the property comes with real costs. We have already put $3000 into rehabbing this house and with five children to care for, we simply don’t have the extra funds to continue tackling these renovations ourselves.

We’re asking for help. Whether it's $1 or $100, your donation will go directly toward materials and labor to make this house a safe home. Every dollar brings us closer to providing our children with a home without the fear and anxiety of becoming unstable, due to the rapidly rising costs of rent.
