Help Our Family Move Before April 23rd

I'm Mark Carroll, a copywriter and freelance game designer, and my family and I need your help.

We've lived in our house as renters since 2012. We're generally happy with the place. Then, on April 10th, 2024, our landlord conducted an inspection of the property. Afterwards, we were told that the house was being sold and, thanks to the normal wear and tear living in a house for 12 years that accumulates, that we has 'damaged' the property, were in violation of the lease, and had two weeks to move out. Anything left on the property after April 23rd would be taken and sold.

So, that left us stunned and scrambling to find a new place to live, to transfer our utilities, pack our belongings, hire a moving service...the list of expenses stretches on. That's why I'm reaching out to you folks for some financial assistance. Anything will help.

If we'd known this was happening, we could have prepared and shouldered the expense. Instead, we're having to spend every cent in our checking account and ask for help here.

The cat in the picture there is our beloved orange tom, Jack-Jack. You'll be helping him too.
