Annecephly , help lay our daughter to rest in AK.
Hello we are the Finch family. We have been married for 12 years and have 5 beautiful kids (1 boy and 4 girls ) We are a military family. Around 3 months ago we found out that we were expecting. Very unexpected since we were not trying and done after our last pregnancy. Sadly a month after that I had a initial OB appointment and I knew something was wrong and on July 19th it was confirmed we were not only having another girl but our daughter would not make it long if she makes it past birth. She was diagnosed with ANNECEPHLY ( missing part of her brain and skull). They told us they can't tell us much but that alot of this is all unknown but it is a terminal/ life limiting condition and she will not be compatiable with life outside of the womb. Based off my research from my annecephly group most only survive a few hours if they make it past birth. As I stated we are military and would like her to buried in Alaska as that is home for us but also our first daughter we lost in 2012 is also buried up there as well and we would like them to be buried together. We will need to pay for items for her funeral, last minute plane tickets, a vehicle to rent etc.. My guess is we will be there for about a week. My due date is January 27th. If the military and funeral homes move quickly we expect all of this to take place in February. If you feel the desire to help us out we really do appreciate it but also covet your prayers though this all as well. Flying out of DC I have seen prices at $800 average but that is buying a few months out not a week in advance so I would expect tickets to be over $1000 at least hence why I have it set at 10,000. Thanks for spreading the word and helping however you can during this very difficult time.
Love the Finches
