Our family is deeply heart broken to share that we lost our beloved Tahjea.

He was an incredible brother, son, and friend - someone who could make anyone smile and was always there when you needed him the most. Tahjea had a way of making everyone feel loved and seen, and was an amazing friend to all who were lucky enough to know him. His laughter, kindness, and light touched so many lives, and it’s hard to imagine our world without him in it.

Tahjea passed away suddenly in a tragic motorcycle accident. He was only 30 years old, with so much life still ahead of him and so many dreams left to chase. Losing him so unexpectedly has left our hearts shattered and our lives forever changed.

Tahjea was a vital part of our large family - the one who could bring everyone together and fill any room with laughter. He’s remembered as being the best part of so many childhood memories, and those moments will continue to live on in all of us who loved him.

He deeply loved his mother, Kelley, her husband Eddie, and his younger brothers, Tyrek and Treyvon. He always looked out for his family and wanted nothing more than to see them happy and cared for. He wouldn’t want to place this financial burden on them alone, which is why we have created this GoFundMe - to help cover the cost of his funeral and memorial services, and to support his loved ones as we navigate this unimaginable loss together.
