Hello Hope Builders,

In the face of adversity, hope is often said to be the strongest force of all. Today, we come to you with a message of resilience and determination, seeking to harness the power of hope to bring light to the darkest of times.

My name is Mohammed, and alongside my brother Ahmed, I come to you with a plea from the depths of our hearts. We share a bond forged in hardship, born from the struggles and hard work of our beloved family in Gaza.

Since October 2023, our lives have been irrevocably altered by the horrors of war. We have witnessed the partial destruction of our family home in Northern Gaza, the damage of our father business, and the heart-wrenching loss of cherished loved ones. The relentless cycle of violence has left us reeling, grappling with the harsh realities of displacement, injury, and uncertainty.

But amidst the chaos and despair, a glimmer of hope shines through. We've always prided ourselves on our resilience, our ability to weather any storm with unwavering determination. However, after more than 181 days of enduring the relentless onslaught of war and displacement, all that we once relied upon to stand tall has been depleted. We refuse to succumb to despair, determined to carve out a better future for ourselves and our family. Yet, the path to safety is fraught with obstacles, leaving us with no choice but to turn to you, our fellow hopebuilders, for support.

Our only hope of escape lies in crossing the Egyptian border at Rafah, a journey fraught with danger and uncertainty. The cost of passage grows with each passing day, an insurmountable barrier for a family already teetering, now the cost is around £5000 per person.

That's why we humbly appeal to your kindness and compassion. With your support, we can secure the safe evacuation of our family – fourteen souls clinging to the fragile threads of hope. Every pound brings us one step closer to reuniting our family and rebuilding our shattered lives.

The requested fund (£22500) will be used as follows

4 adult and 1 child family members (Parents, 1 brothers and 1 sister) * 5000 = 20000

1 brother children * 2500 = 2500
