Help Us Honor the Life and Legacy of Richard Wayne Walton

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Richard Wayne Walton, who left us peacefully on May 18, 2025, at the age of 69. A lifelong resident of Pennsylvania, Richard was born on July 2, 1955, in Pittsburgh. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather, skilled cabinet maker, and a man who found beauty and peace in life’s simple pleasures.

Our dad meant everything to us. He was a man of quiet strength, unwavering work ethic, and deep devotion to his family. Whether he was crafting beautiful furniture by hand, sharing his passion for music, or enjoying the outdoors, Richard did it with heart and humility. His greatest pride came from being "Pap" to Emery, Sydney, Lexus, Conrad, Aria, and Deacon—his grandchildren who lit up his world.

We are now facing the difficult and unexpected task of funding his funeral and burial services. As we prepare to lay him to rest at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on May 28, we want to honor him with the dignity, love, and peace he so richly deserves.

We have created this GoFundMe page to ask for your support. Any donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward covering funeral expenses and burial arrangements. If you are unable to give, simply sharing this page or keeping us in your thoughts and prayers means more than words can express.

Thank you for helping us celebrate the life of a truly good man. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.

With love and gratitude,
Courtney Miller & Nick Walton
