Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

My name is Daniel Nasworthy, and I’m reaching out to share an important part of my family’s journey with you. My wife Kimberly and I have been blessed with a beautiful blended family, but we hope to expand it by having a child together. Unfortunately, due to a previous medical procedure, my wife is unable to conceive naturally at this time.

My wife and I met in 2002 during high school in a small Northern California town. We briefly dated but went our separate ways, following different paths in life. However, over the next 18 years, my now-wife kept me in her thoughts, hoping to one day reconnect. Through the magic of social media, our paths crossed again. Despite the 6.5-hour distance between us, we decided we were meant to be together and would make it work. After a year of long-distance dating, she moved to LA to build a life with me.

It hasn’t always been easy, but love carried us through. Those who know us well know the challenges we’ve faced along with all the blessings. Most recently, I adopted my wife's two older children, now my sons, fulfilling their heartfelt request and it is a privilege to be their father.

Though we feel incredibly blessed, my wife and I have no children together. After much discussion and reflection, we’ve decided to expand our family and have a child of our own. However, my wife would need specialized surgery not covered by insurance to do so.

My wife had Essure a permanent birth control device implanted years ago during her prior marriage that turned abusive. However, the device has caused several physical issues related to the device and has since been recalled and taken off the market due to complications it causes. After careful consideration and medical advice, we’ve decided to have her Essure reversed to restore her health and give us the chance to expand our family naturally.

The procedure for Essure reversal is both complex and costly, and while my wife and I work hard to support our family, the cost of this surgery is beyond our current means as we both had to navigate family law proceedings over the last four years. The estimated cost out of pocket is $8,000 to cover the cost of the surgery, flights, hotel, etc. The location of the surgery center is on the East Coast called A Personal Choice, which specializes in permanent birth control reversal.

We are humbly asking for your help to make this dream a reality. We continue to save, but every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward the surgery and help us move one step closer to expanding our family and creating the loving home we have always envisioned.
