Help our Family give Nelson a Celebration Of Life
On June 14th, our beloved Nelson passed away unexpectedly at just 22 years old. Born with Cerebral Palsy, Nelson lived a life full of strength, love, and quiet resilience. Though nonverbal and wheelchair-bound, he spoke volumes through his presence, and his life touched everyone who knew him.
Nelson defied the odds by living as long and as beautifully as he did — and now our family is faced with the heartbreaking task of laying him to rest.
We are humbly asking for help to cover funeral and burial expenses so that Nelson can be honored with the dignity and care he deserves. His mother — my aunt — has been his full-time caregiver for his entire life, carrying a weight few can understand. She’s never asked for anything, but now we’re asking for her.

El 14 de junio, nuestro querido Nelson falleció inesperadamente a solo 22 años de edad. Nació con parálisis cerebral, y aunque no hablaba y usaba silla de ruedas, su vida fue una muestra de fortaleza, amor y resistencia silenciosa. Nelson desafió todas las expectativas al vivir tantos años y dejarnos tantas lecciones sin necesidad de palabras.
Hoy, nuestra familia enfrenta el doloroso reto de despedirlo con el amor y la dignidad que se merece, pero no contamos con los recursos suficientes para cubrir todos los gastos funerarios.
Su mamá —mi tía— fue su cuidadora principal toda su vida. Lo dio todo por él, día tras día, año tras año, con un amor incondicional que nos inspira profundamente. Ella nunca pidió nada… pero ahora nosotros sí estamos pidiendo ayuda por ella.
