Help our family get through a difficult situation!

On may 8th this year my steering went out on my way home from work. Having just had a newborn baby money was very tight and my entire steering system and a good majority of my front end suspension needed replaced immediately. I had to buy parts week by week due to the high cost. Having finally finished the repairs and attempting to start the engine to bleed the steering and brake fluids, I found my batteries dead and they both tested for a bad cell. After replacing both batteries my truck began alarming and will not start. We’re currently at a point where if we all need to go somewhere together, we have to ask around and see if someone can give us rides or we just miss doctor’s appointments. I am relying on my motorcycle for all transportation to and from work as well as to bring home groceries and it’s starting to get cold. My family has barely left the house at all this summer just because they didn’t have much of on opportunity to. And now our landlord is selling the house we currently live in to our new neighbors and we have to move out. I’ve managed to get a preapproved VA loan and am able to cover the closing costs using my 401k hopefully, but what’s holding us up is “earnest money”. With very little time and having been already dealing with a financial/mechanical crisis we haven’t been able to come up with enough, and even after that in order to actually move I’ll need to most likely have my truck towed to a mechanic to solve the issues and finish the work needed then pay for an actual move. We’ve been saving money as best we can and have even been trying to sell some items to help us make some money which hasn’t been successful yet. We feel defeated and tired of being in such a stressful situation for over 5 months. Not knowing what else to do, we’re asking for help. Thank you
