Our family is going through an incredibly difficult time and we are asking for help.

Recently, our dad, Gerardo Reyes Gonzalez, was detained following a traffic stop, my brother was driving and my dad was in the passenger seat. no reason why they stopped my brother but regardless both my brother and dad were charged with interfering with public duties.

Our family is now trying to navigate both the legal and immigration systems while also trying to keep our household stable. We are doing everything we can to find proper legal representation for him, but immigration and criminal defense attorneys can cost thousands of dollars, which is something our family simply cannot afford on our own.

Our dad has been the main provider for our family for many years. A few years ago, my mom was involved in a terrible accident with a drunk driver that left her permanently disabled. Since then, my dad has been the one maintaining our household, supporting our family financially, and helping take care of my mom through everything.

Right now our family is facing another crisis. Without our dad at home, things have become extremely difficult for us emotionally and financially. We are trying to raise money to help cover attorney fees, legal costs, and basic household needs while we fight for him and work through this process.
