My family—my partner, our newborn baby girl, and myself—just moved into a new apartment, hoping to start fresh and build a safe home for our little one. We’re adjusting to life as new parents, and while I’m waiting to return to work in a couple of weeks, my unemployment benefits have just run out. We’re doing our best to make ends meet, but an unexpected challenge has come up: our car broke down, and we need a new alternator to get it running again.
