Help Our Family Rebuild After Losing Everything in a House Fire

On September 2, our family experienced something we never imagined we would have to face. A devastating house fire took everything from us.

At this time, the exact cause of the fire is still unknown. What we do know is that when the fire was over, we had lost our home and everything inside it.

Five of us were affected by this tragedy — myself, my mother, my two brothers, and my nephew. In a matter of moments, the place we called home and the belongings we had spent years building were gone.

Right now, we are staying in a hotel and trying to figure out what comes next. We are doing our best to remain strong, but starting completely over is overwhelming. We don’t have the basic necessities that we once took for granted — clothing, personal belongings, household essentials, food, and a place we can call home.

We are creating this GoFundMe because we genuinely need help getting our family back on our feet. Our goal is to raise $30,000, which will go toward securing stable housing, temporary living expenses, clothing, food, replacing essential items, and helping us begin rebuilding our lives after this unimaginable loss.

We never expected to be in a position where we would have to ask others for help. But sometimes life puts you in circumstances where you have no choice but to reach beyond yourself and allow others to stand with you.

Through all of this, we are holding onto our faith. We may not understand why this happened, and we don’t know what the next chapter looks like, but we believe God is still with us. We believe He will make a way, provide what we need, and turn this situation around.
