I am helping my family raise funds for our family dog, Onix. Onix is a blue-heeler/pit mix, and he’s the most sweetest lil fella you’d ever meet.

On June 20, Onix and his fur-brother escaped their backyard in Albany for not even half an hour before Onix got struck by a truck. He suffered VERY severe wounds, including a broken leg, and he had wounds so bad that his lungs and diaphragm were exposed. The person who hit him got out of their car and picked him up, but after Onix reacted, the person dropped Onix, hit and kicked him twice until a witness intervened. :(

After being transported to a Vet in Albany and then Salem it was decided that Onix’s leg would get amputated, so now we await surgery for our little guy.

Thankfully our boy Onix is doing better now, and we are all trying to stay above water and not drown with the massive vet bills that are coming ahead. All donations will go solely towards Onix vet expenses! If there happens to be any donations left over, it will all be donated back to the veterinary clinic to help with other animals and their bills!

Any kind of donation is appreciated, $5 really goes a long way! My family and I are incredibly grateful for those in our community who stepped in and helped when Onix was hurt! Rest assured that we will find a way to give back for all your help, someway, somehow!
