Help our family cover my dad's funeral expenses

My name is Emily Busher-Betancourt, and I am hoping to raise money for my family to cover the funeral expenses after the sudden passing of my father, Daniel R. Busher.

On November 17th, 2021, my family's lives changed forever. Nothing could have prepared us for the unbearable heartache of losing our dad. He was the glue that held our family together, never missing a birthday, holiday, or special event. We were so looking forward to planning our first normal Thanksgiving since the start of the pandemic, but instead, we had to plan a funeral.

My dad was consistently involved in our school extracurriculars throughout ours lives, always being the first to chaperone and volunteer. He was the one who stayed connected to our dozens of family members despite the distance. His brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, and nephews. God knows we have such a big family, and he continuously kept up with the lives of everyone. His phone was always ringing as loved ones reached out to him throughout the day. My dad was goofy, positive, generous, loyal, and the most outstanding dad anyone could ask for. My hero. A "glass half full" type of person. Anyone would be proud to call him family.

He will be missed by so many who loved him. A piece of my dad is truly inside everyone he ever loved because he would gladly give that much compassion to others. If you have ever been touched by his kindness, his humor, his words of wisdom, or the warmth of his presence, please lend us a helping hand during these dark times.

My father's funeral services have passed, but I would like to help lift the heavy financial burden off my mother's shoulders. No one asked me to set up this fundraiser; I'm doing this for my family. I appreciate the love and support shown by so many. Even if we do not reach the goal, any little bit helps. Thank you.
